Word for Today: You Are Victorious

Opening Scripture: 1 John 3: 8 …For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Beloved Jesus have broken and destroyed the power sin had on us.

Halleluiah!
We are victorious. Christ has made us victorious over the works of the devil.

We were created to have dominion over all things. (Study Genesis 1:26) Adam lost dominion in the Garden of Eden. Now that you are in Christ you have gotten back your dominion but until you exercise it through authority, the devil will still dominate you because you refuse to function in what you know and have. I ask are you then victorious?!

God’s intention at the beginning of creation was for Adam to take an authority to enable him to be the god of this world, but Adam lost it to the devil and he became the god of this world. But with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ Jesus, the story changed for our good. Hallelujah!

Is there anything that could stop Christ on earth? Absolutely nothing; not even death and so do you. He even laid down His own life willingly and took it back.

Hallelujah! If nothing could stop Him because of the authority He possessed and the victory over the devil, what can stop you now, as you have the same Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit he had?

Nothing, not even the devil our adversary, demons, or humans can stop you! Glory to God! No wonder the moment Jesus was baptized in River Jordan He was immediately led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted and show the devil He has a higher authority. When the devil saw Him, he wanted to get Christ’s dominion as he did in the garden to Adam through what he ate but that did not work so he offered Him dominion but Jesus defeated him and he fled.

Luke 4: 5 -8 says  And the devil, taking him up into a high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever, I will I give it. If thou, therefore, wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Power means authority and with it comes dominion. Don’t wait until you lose before you take dominion.
Don’t allow the devil to kill a loved one before you realize you could have saved him/her. Don’t let him torment you with sickness, failure, lack, and fiddle with your finances before you take over and dominate. God gave you victory over it all, it’s found in His Word.

Psalm 8:6 NkJV, You have made him have dominion over the works of your hands; You have put all things under his feet.

Step out and declare your authority in Christ Jesus. Remember these signs that are to follow us in Mark 16:17-18 (Study). Step up your game and say no to the devil by displaying authority and winning in life. It’s victory on every side.

I urge you to take up your responsibilities as you are victorious in this world.

I pray for you to dominate your world through authority and reign in life with Christ in Jesus name Amen.
