Opening Scripture: Matthew 5 : 14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Glory to God!
Beloved having the Christ like nature openly made us His temple ( A spiritual dwelling place).
A light that is to show the lost of the world back to their creator. How bright is your light?
Note: Our lives as believers serve as a directional sign.
Never forget this, We are out there for the world to see the Christ we say we represent in our lives( Life style). If I may ask, is your life reflecting the Christ like nature?!
Remember a city set on a hill can’t be hidden! Meaning no matter how you try most assuredly you must be recognized. Listen God made us so for this very reason; to bring many to God’s kingdom and not to scare them away.
We are out there not to showcase an immoral life but a life full of God’s glory in all ramifications. Halleluyah!
A decent and godly life. A spiritual minded life fully desirous of kingdom growth which is our main purpose of existence. Reconciling men to God. ( fishers of men)
Beloved as a city set upon a hill can you boldly say your city is shining and bringing glory to God?
Anything short of this is an error, a wrong representation of the God we say we know.
Further the opening scripture we are admonished in verse 16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Just shine for God and God alone. One thing is certain as you seek His kingdom all other things shall be added unto you. Isn’t it beautiful when we dedicate our lives to God, He takes care of us.
