Word For Today: Victory

Opening Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15: 57
But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah!
Am super glad to report that IN CHRIST WE CAN HAVE VICTORY!

What is victory?
When an army conquers its enemy they are victorious.
But the victory Paul was talking about in the opening scripture describes our Savior, Jesus Christ’s victory over sin, death, and the grave. According to verse 26, He was completely victorious in defeating the last enemy.

(1 Corinthians 15:26) “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”
Glory to God!

There is a victory for those in Christ Jesus – The victory that we have in Christ is far greater than any earthly victory. Christ’s victory is permanent. Glory!

We are not about to fight or enter into any competition someone special has fought the fight and won the competition we are just celebrating the victory.

Sometimes I wonder
Without Christ, what will happen to us when we leave this world? Without Christ, we were lost and condemned.

But Glory to Him for what He has done.
(John 3:18) “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

The Christian victory is not a victory that we won. We did not defeat anyone or anything. Our victory is a victory that we receive through our victorious champion the Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ enters in and rescues us from certain destruction.
Because we receive that rescue from Jesus Christ.

Are you lost and feeling condemned? All hope is not lost remember this Victory is also available for you today by just receiving and believing in the finished work of Christ on Calvary.

The devil has been defeated on your behalf no need to fight anymore just relax and enjoy the victory we got through grace. Hallelujah!

It’s well with You!

I pray for you may the blessedness of knowing Christ and receiving this victory bring about testimonies in you and your lives in Jesus’ name Amen.
