Opening Scripture: 1 Peter 2: 11
Beloved, I implore you as aliens and strangers and exiles [in this world] to abstain from the sensual urges (the evil desires, the passions of the flesh, your lower nature) that wage war against the soul.
Hallelujah!
Are you kingdom minded? Are your eyes focused only?
Remember heaven is our final destination and anything that does not favor this is not considered.
All of the above mentioned in the opening scriptures are earthly distractions that wage war on our souls.
Trying all it could to distract us from being focused and more kingdom-minded.
Beloved, we are pilgrims on a journey on earth
Strangers and aliens.
Our constant question should be ” what can separate us from the love of Christ ” and our response should be Absolutely Nothing! Why? Because we are heavenly-minded and await our crown.
Christ our role model Worked in this mindset which was why He obeyed unto death on the cross allowing us to know Him and God.
A kingdom-minded believer seeks and obeys God’s word always. Be heavenly-minded with a difference. Beloved we avoid being ruined when we avoid sin, we get more stronger and honored by God.
Encourage one another to be focused.
We must obey and keep His word – the one that gave us His Love and life.
When you are focused it’s obvious for all to see.
I pray that you become focused ( kingdom minded) and never pay attention to the distractions of the world in Jesus’ name Amen.
