Opening Scripture:
Psalm 32:11
Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all
ye that is upright in heart.
Halleluyah!
Joy is for everyone.
Are we the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus?! Yes therefore rejoice. Rejoicing is part of our lifestyle, never forget to shout for Joy. Glory to God!
He even went further to ask nations to be glad and sing
for joy and let the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice. Glory to God! (See
Psalm 67:4 and Psalm 96:11)
There are benefits in being joyful at all times and a joyful heart will surely testify of
God’s goodness.
Paul says in Romans 12:12, 15 be joyful in hope; patient in tribulation; instant in
prayer. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
Someone might ask why it is important to be joyous.
Simply because the goodness of God will enable you to have it.
The imperative to joy in us is based on the indicative of the good in Him, I once
heard a preacher say. A joyful heart can’t be sick.
Praise the Lord!
Joyful heart showcases the following:-
• When you trust God – No room to observe challenges but focus on God.
• A person with a joyful heart follows God’s Word. They are aware that God’s
instructions are not easy to follow but they do it knowing it’s for their good
and God’s glory.
• Such a person is prayerful and spends quality time in God’s presence (see
Psalm 16:11)
• A joyful heart practices gratitude
• A joyful heart has come to terms with the difference between happiness and joy.
Are you joyous at all times?
What are you waiting for be joyous?
Are you not aware of this; Happiness dies when sorrow appears but joy arises from sorrow and can withstand
all grief. Praise the Lord!
Joy leads to endurance, character, and hope.
Listen, beloved, you have every reason to rejoice.
Jesus Christ is enough reason to be joyful at all times.
I pray for you to let your joy know no boundaries during this season of testimonies
in Jesus’ name, Amen.
