Opening Scripture: Colossians 3: 12 – 15
12: Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
13: bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
14: But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
15: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Possessing Godly Character and Kindness is very important, which is also known as Goodness.
Often times I see Christians refer to kindness as being nice or pleasant, as though it’s mainly about smiling, and getting along; that seems rather like a mundane virtue.
Kindness is sacrificial. Glory to God! Beloved Kindness is spiritual. True kindness is Spirit-produced (Galatians 5:22 study)
It’s a supernaturally way our hearts responds toward other people, even when they don’t deserve it and don’t love us in return.
Our role model Jesus Christ’s kindness is intended to lead people to repentance.
Romans 2:4 says Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
Beloved this shows they haven’t yet turned to him, and are still his enemies yet His kindness gave them a better life without them being aware. Glory to God! Christ loved His enemies therefore reflect yours by loving your enemies. You might be asking if that is possible. Yes! We have the life and nature of God in us as believers.
Luke 6:35 – Jesus said, “Love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Highest, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil”
Praise the Lord!
His kindness was shown to the ungrateful and evil. A lot of us are guilty of this, therefore ask God for forgiveness and repent today. Beloved our kindness reflects the heart of our father.
Ephesians 4:32 says to be kind to one another.
Note: kindness may not be pleasant and is no small thing.
Proverbs 21: 21 Esv says it all and it reads:-Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.
Are you Kind? Is kindness found in you?
Remember it brings about marvelous fruits in our lives and the lives of those around us. The Holy Spirit is available just ask Him to give you a kind heart that supersedes our emotions that overflow through kind lips.
I pray for you today, go for kindness and you will find life, righteousness, and honor in Jesus name Amen.
