Word For Today: Press Forward To Do More In Christ.

Opening Scripture: Philippians 3:13-16
13: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15: Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16: Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, and let us mind the same thing.

Glory to God!
All my achievements were not gotten by myself but by God.

He strengthens and makes it possible.
Can this be your words?
Beloved it is time to move forward beyond achievement to enable you to break new ground and get new results.

It is also time to wake up from that defeat, learn from your mistakes, and move forward giving yourself another opportunity to achieve results instead of sitting in on a defeat that takes you nowhere.

Aim higher! With it comes a huge potential and breaking testimonies. Paul made us understand why we should move forward in verse 14 of the Opening Scripture when he said “I press towards the goal to win the prize in which Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

Everybody must think and behave like Paul in this scenario to achieve this prize (the heavenly crowning) Praise the Lord! This prize is based on our work here on earth and this work is not a one-time achievement but continuous work to service unto God.

In (1 Corinthians 3:13-14 see) Paul talks about this work and its reward. It says every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
If any man’s work abides where he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

Are you finding those works you need to do to confront your desires? Then you need to grow into maturity because only spiritually matured and fully grown can comprehend.

That was why Paul said in verse 15 of the Opening Scripture, that as full-grown (perfect) we should have this mind and hold these convictions that we have a job to do.

Also it went further to say being fully grown will also give you an opportunity for God to clarify things to you if you fall short of this mind on what to do. What is this mind?

That as believers, we are on earth for a purpose to do the Father’s will and desire – and His will is that we work and receive our rewards.
Beloved hold to what we have attained which is the very life we have now in Christ Jesus.

Be Christ-like, I encourage you to move forward and achieve more in Christ.

I pray for you today to be heavenly conscious where our crown awaits us in Jesus’ name Amen.
