Opening Scripture: Acts 27: 25 – 26
25 So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith (complete confidence) in God that it will be exactly as it was told me;
26 But we shall have to be stranded on some island.
Hallelujah!
What a precise solution with total confidence and trust in God!
When you have confidence in God just as paul did when their ship was faced with great storms and challenges at sea,
The victory will be precise. Exactly as God has spoken to you and your faith will be firm and stable to boldly declare it just as you heard.
Paul saw and believed.
Acts 27: 21 – 24
Then as they had eaten nothing for a long time, Paul came forward into their midst and said, Men, you should have listened to me, and should not have put to sea from Crete and brought on this disaster and harm and misery and loss.
But [even] now I beg you to be in good spirits and take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you but only of the ship.
For this [very] night there stood by my side an angel of the God to Whom I belong and Whom I serve and worship,
And he said, Do not be frightened, Paul! You must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has given you all those who are sailing with you.
Paul in the previous chapters was put in jail all because of his strong belief in God and his defense concerning Christ. Yet not for once did he lose faith but rather held on completely to what he believed which is the message of Christ. (Our salvation)
He Faced many panels of judges yet confidently defended and spoke with boldness concerning Christ.
Beloved why won’t it be precise as he was told, that no one will be hurt on board the ship?!
Regardless he was not in charge of the ship but the fact he was a man on a mission he must get to his destination in one piece and because of His presence on that ship all other men on board the ship were confirmed safe. Hallelujah!
Beloved, we believers are men and women on a mission despite the many obstacles we might face on our journey, if only we will have faith ( complete confidence) in God that it will be exactly as He has promised us, it shall be so. We will get to our destination in life – The fulfillment of destiny.
Faith is paramount in our Christain journey and a man of faith will always have an insight into God’s move each step of the way – it will be revealed and even if it was not revealed, his confidence in God will always give him the assurance that God will never fail – He is too faithful certainly He will keep His words.
Therefore no matter the next line of action you won’t be surprised but rather confident of this very thing; That God is in control.
I pray for you this season that your faith will fail not rather stand firm in God at all times and produce mighty results in Jesus’ name Amen.
