Word For Today: Maintain The Status Quo – We Are Believers.

Opening Scripture: James 3:11 – 12
11: Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter?
12: Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or grapevine figs? Neither can a salt spring furnish fresh water.

Hallelujah!
Beloved we are fountains of fresh water, to bear the right fruits and spring with the right water. Praise the Lord!

As I was studying the opening scripture, the Holy Spirit made me understand this; as believers, there are certain things we can never be.

The moment we begin to be different from who we are, it simply means we have stepped out of the line.
Out of God’s order to human order which is full of mistakes.
God’s ways are perfect. Hallelujah!

I asked can we be sweet and at the same time bitter. No!
Can we be pure at the same time defiled? No!
When found in such situations simply show life in Christ but not His ways.

Your present life is the product of what you choose to align with yesterday’s years.
If you don’t like it change to be who God says you are. Believe it to become!

Beloved we have been wired to be who God says we are both in blessing and in character.  Does your life reflect Christ’s divine plan and will?
Where have you gotten it wrong? Beloved, it is time to maintain the status quo as a believer… align with His words. Praise the Lord!

We are blessed to be a blessing. We have life and we should be life-givers. True wisdom is to showcase our good works.

James 3: 14  But if you have bitter jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry, selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not pride yourselves on it and thus be in defiance of and false to the Truth.

Where ever the above is found, surely the believer is out of line (God’s order).
Praise the Lord! Wisdom is when you work in line with God’s word, you will be pure, peace-loving courteous, (considerate and gentle) yielding to reason, and full of compassion and good fruit.
Such a man will be straightforward, impartial, and free from doubt, wavering, and insincerity. That’s a true believer!

Maintaining the status quo is being in conformity to God’s will in thought and deeds no moral conflicts. Believers are lights and therefore shine for the world to see. As salt gives lives meaning. (Taste)

I pray for you today, be who God says you are as you fulfill destiny in Jesus name Amen.
