Word for Today: How to Provoke Uncommon Favour – Love (Part 1)

Opening Scripture: 1 king 3: 3 – 5
3: And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.
4: Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.
5: At Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”

Hallelujah!
Love is key. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son…

Love makes you do unusual things. For instance; you are aware of what God’s love did for us. Praise the Lord!

But today we are looking at the love Solomon had for God that Provoked Uncommon favor from God to Him. The opening scripture said “And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of his father David”

The first key Solomon used to unlock heaven for uncommon favor was Love for God. Yes, he offered a burnt offering of a thousand which was unusual and was motivated by love because he loved the Lord and it propelled him to give in such a high dimension that no one has ever given.

Hallelujah!
Beloved do you love the Lord? Are you aware that love is a strong force that drives a man to go the extra mile for and with God?
When you love the Lord nothing will be too big or too hard to do or offer to the Lord.

Note: You can never provoke heaven for uncommon favor if you are the type of believer that does not put God first in all the things you do. Glory to God!

Jesus said the other day in John 14: 15 “If you love me, you will obey my commandments.

Loving the Lord will make you keep His words and that will enable you to walk in His ways. Beloved your love for God is demonstrated in the way you handle your relationship with Him. Praise the Lord!

If other things have taken the place of God in your heart so much that you have pushed God to the back seat in your plans, thoughts, considerations, dreams, aspirations, and pursuits in life for success, there’s no way heaven can release uncommon favor upon you – this is a statement of fact.

Do you know that Uncommon favor gets attracted to you once God is attracted to you; when you deeply love the Lord, He will be attracted to you.

If you have found yourself far away from loving the Lord and it’s seen in your lifestyle as a believer, repent from this today and make God your number one priority and surely you will enjoy uncommon favor this season.

I urge you to love the Lord, Put Him first and you will surely provoke heaven for uncommon favor.

I pray for you to enjoy God’s uncommon favor this season as you love the Lord in an unusual way in Jesus name. Amen.
