Opening Scripture: 1 king 3: 3 – 5
3:And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.
4: Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.
5: At Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”
Hallelujah!
When you prioritize, it means you are focused and you know exactly what you want. Priority means a thing that is regarded as more important than others.
Certainly, we do have numerous challenges or issues but should in case God gives you an open cheque as He gave it to Solomon what will your response be? Are you aware that you can walk in the realm of uncommon favour only if you set your priorities right?
Solomon certainly had need of several things, but when the Lord placed an open cheque before him, all he asked for was God’s wisdom. Glory to God!
One thing is certain and also is a truth that wisdom is the principal thing and Christ is the wisdom of God!
Am not implying that anytime God gives you an open cheque you should ask for wisdom No! But am establishing the fact that Solomon knew what he wanted.
Can this be said about you? Do you know what you want?
Proverbs 4:7 says Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Wisdom is also profitable to direct and a man with understanding is key.
Those who pursue riches and good things in the world at the expense of God are unwise, they can never be satisfied in life, in fact, they usually live and die miserably! If I may ask are you wise? If yes you will make God and His kingdom your number one Priority.
Hallelujah!
Note: To keep the doors of uncommon favor permanently opened upon your life, you must place God where He belongs, the very center of your life. For that is wisdom!
The moment God has taken His place in your life and you maintain a strong relationship with Him, you will not fall out of favor rather you will be in favor all the days of your life and it will manifest for all to see.
A man favored by God can never be hidden. His life radiates the favor of God.
Such a man glows always. Glory! It is a terrible thing to fall out of favor with God refusing such and that is the reason you must immediately return to Him for restoration.
Beloved it is possible for us as believers to daily experience uncommon favor in our lives if we know how to provoke God to act in our favour!
God loves us all and daily wants us to live in uncommon favor – take advantage of that today and do the right thing.
I pray for you today to let wisdom enable you to prioritize and enjoy God’s uncommon favor this season and more in Jesus name. Amen.
