Opening Scripture: Isaiah 53: 5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Glory!
What a great sacrifice. Prophet Isaiah saw this and it became a reality.
Christ was pierced or bored through for our freedom. It was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him.
It was our rebellion against God that caused the trouble. Christ, in His mercy and grace, was wounded to remedy the problem.
He never rebelled against God; in fact, He always obeyed the Father’s will (study John 5:19; 6:38).
All He went through was just for you and me.
Through the sacrifice of Christ, we are reconciled to God. (He returned us into fellowship with the Father.)
For we are accepted by God, because of Him.
I ask are you living the life as a believer worthy of the huge sacrifice and pain He went through for us? Are you still dwelling in sin as one without Christ?
Romans 5:10 says
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
What a Love!
Remember He gave us healing not just healing of the body alone but everlasting healing of the spirit and forgiveness of sin.
By His death and resurrection the Lord Jesus paid the enormous price for our sins and broke the power of sin and death in our life forever. Hallelujah!
I ask are you sick in your body? Is the thought of death tormenting you?
Have you forgetting.
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”
Note: It was not just the whip stripping the flesh off His bare back, but your sicknesses and diseases. Each time He was whipped every form of sickness and disease, including arthritis, cancer, diabetes, HIV, kidney infection was dealt with.
No matter the name giving to it you have been healed of it already on the cross. Praise the Lord!
All you need to do is boldly declare that Jesus has paid for your healing. Disease has no right to be in your body. You are healed in Jesus name.
Glory to God!
The Lord Jesus suffered cruel treatment and gave up His life willingly for us.
So that all who believe on Him might not perish but be given peace with God – His inner peace guarding our hearts.
If only you believe you shall enjoy the blessedness in His death, burial and resurrection.
I urge you, let your life in its totality reflect Christ for all to see.
If you believe begin to enjoy the best life ever in Christ Jesus.
I pray for you today may the blessings with His been wounded manifest in your life and bring glory to God in Jesus name Amen.
