Word For Today: God’s Love

Opening Scripture: John 3 : 16 Ampc

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

Glory to God!

I love the above translation.

There is no other love greater than the love of God towards His childern( His creation).

His love is so amazing, giving to us when we did not deserve it or qualified for it. But His love bear it all. His immeasurable love without boundaries. Glory!

Romans 5: 6 – 8 says  While we were yet in weakness (powerless to help ourselves), at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.

Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die.

But God shows and clearly proves His (own) love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.

Having Christ is freedom from destruction. This love gave us an opportunity not to perish but  when we believe we shall have an everlasting life.

His love towards us brought about our new birth in Christ   – delivered us from the darkness and brought ua into light.(Colossians 1 : 12 – 13)

My question is this have you received His love that was offered freely? Are you staying faithful to His love? Do you trust, rely, and cling on Him?

His love gave us His best and set us free and made us His.

What are you waiting for, it’s high time you believe His love completely and became a part of the new family in Christ.

Recieve the gift given to us through grace.

Jesus is all we need in life. He is the only true light that can illuminate our lives. God’s love made Him available for us.

John 1 : 9 ampc There it was—the true Light (was then)coming into the world (the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light) that illumines every person.

Are you feeling unworthy or is the enemy telling you that your sinners are to grievous to be forgiven? What a lie.

1John 1 : 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

You are qualified – infact He died for such a person. Embrace God’s love and stay faithful, finding delight in His ways and commandments, being sold out completely to Him and you shall enjoy the blessings afterwards.

( study psalm 112 : 1 – 3)

No man can give us this kind of love if not God. Today make up your mind to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour.

No better life can we get outside of Christ. Surrender to Him today.

Have you back slided? it’s time to return back to Him for He is ever willing to Have you back.

Remember return and stay faithful to your call.

I urge you to love the Lord in return and your life will never be the same.

I pray for you today, may your love for God never wax cold rather keep staying aflame till the day of His return to take us Home in Jesus name Amen.

Word For Today: Rejoice In The Lord

Opening Scripture: Philippians 3 : 1 Ampc

For the rest, my brethren, delight yourselves in the Lord and continue to rejoice that you are in Him. To keep writing to you (over and over) of the same things is not irksome to me, and it is (a precaution) for your safety.

Glory to God !

Delight your self in the Lord.

Being joyous at all times should be paramount.

Circumstances should not make us joyous rather knowing and having Christ is the altimate joy.

Beloved are you glad and does your joy knows no boundaries for knowing Christ ?

Christ is our only pure Joy. Apostle Paul found Joy in Jesus . Hallelujah!

Who gave up His life for us and one day everyone will recognize He reigns.

Paul was writing from a Roman prison. About that time in his life, he should be the least to talk about joy in the world’s standard of what our joy should reflect on.

Paul who was surrounded by every conceivable obstacle to joy, yet seem so happy and even to the extent he writes about it and encourage others to do so.

He found the real joy in Christ, though he was bound in prison does not change the fact that he is free in Christ Jesus and His glad for knowing Christ.

We all should be like Paul no matter the challenge be joyous.

Rejoicing in the Lord means that these truths about Jesus – who he is, what he has done, and what he will do personally and profoundly affect us.

Beloved rejoicing in the Lord is knowing Jesus Christ as our Lord, Savior, who has become our  Treasure. Who gives us more purer, deeper, sweeter, more lasting pleasure and gladness than anything this world has to offer.

The worlds joy is determined by circumstances and events. “Oh what a Joy” it’s incomplete.

Rejoicing in the Lord is to sing a new song in our hearts because we have been redeemed. Hallelujah!

Beloved are you not aware, that the joy we have in Christ, that there is no kind of challenge/ distrubance should  take away our joy ?!

I can boldly say this Christ has become the chief object of our joy. (The centre of our Joy)

I urge you as apostle Paul urged us in the opening scripture when he said that it’s not irksome for Him to encourage us to hold on to the Joy of the Lord bearing in mind it’s precaution for our safety.

Not only did Paul rejoiced in Christ , He also rejoiced in God’s people. Glory!

I pray for you today may you see Christ as your only source of joy and Rejoice in Him always in Jesus name Amen.
