Word for Today: Finally Brethren Be Perfect.

Opening Scripture: 2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
Glory to God!

Be made perfect; be made complete, strengthened, and be what you ought to be.

What a powerful scripture!
In the Opening Scripture, Paul stated five things one should be.
1) Being perfect: it is to grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ into a mature believer, by so doing, you won’t be blown apart by any wind of doctrine.
Praise the Lord!

Through reading and studying God’s word (the Bible) with understanding with the help of the Holy Spirit such will be achieved.
Seek perfection in knowledge, grace, holiness, and good works. (Study 2 Corinthians 13:9).

2)Be of good comfort; be encouraged, be consoled, and be comforted.

Beloved “exhort” one another to the diligent discharge of duties.
Love good works, comforting one another in all distress inwardly and outwardly both by words and deeds according to the ability God has given. Never refuse to be comforted either by God or men. Glory to the Lord!

3) Be of one mind; same agreeable mind with one another.
Live beyond religious sentiments and doctrines, instead maintain the same grace and one Gospel. We have one “Lord” to believe in, so there is and ought to be “one” system of “faith” to be received and one “baptism” to be administered in one and the same way to the same believers. Let all believers communion as one.

The Bible said in Amos 3:3 NLT, Can two walk together without agreeing on the direction?

4)Live in peace with all men both believers and non-believers, irrespective of anything, and maintain peace. Beloved, do you possess the above-mentioned outline?

Before I continue the Holy Spirit made me understand for number five to take place, you must have been functioning in the other four points stated above.
The God of love and peace shall be with you. Who is the source of love (affection itself) and has loved us with everlasting love, goodwill, and benevolence?
He is the author and donor of spiritual and eternal peace with you.

Do you desire His peace and love? Obey His word and testify.

I pray for you today to experience blessings through obedience in God’s word in Jesus name Amen.

Remain Ever Lifted.
