Opening Scripture: Lamentations 3: 22 – 23
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Glory to God!
God is the same today and forever.
That’s devotion!
He is devoted to loving us.
His love for us is consistent.
It can never cease – He can’t love you today and stop loving you tomorrow. His love is not fickle like that of humans.
It’s reliable.
His love for mankind led to His son dieing for us. His death redeemed us and delivered us from the control and dominion of the devil.
What love. His love is not void of sacrifice. Full of compassion and mercy.
And the opening Scripture gave us the assurance that God’s mercy never ceases as well. Rather it’s new every day – “like you have not experienced anything yet”
His mercy is available always whenever you reach out to it.
Hebrew 4:16 says Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Now that we are in christ His mercy is available through His grace. Glory to God!
Indeed we serve a great and loving God. (father)
Who’s faithfulness is great.
Faithful to His promises.
Hebrew 10: 23 says Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
There is no need to doubt
His faithfulness, He can never fail. Be bold in saying God’s faithfulness is forever more.
This is a typical example of what being devoted means. If I may ask are you devoted to Him as a believer?
Is your lifestyle showcasing devotion?
If He could love, make His mercy available and be faithful always, He is worthy of devotion.
Through devotion to God, we grow as well. The more we yield ourselves to Him, His will and purpose for us we grow.
God’s devotion to us never wavers and so also should our devotion be void of wavering. Hallelujah!
Remember His loving kindness is forever more.
Are you looking for love, mercy, and faithfulness?
Look no further for God is ever ready to give you all if you come to Him today through His son Jesus Christ.
I pray for you today to be devoted to God in totality in Jesus’ name Amen.
