Word For Today: Are You Determined To Know Him? Part 1

Opening Scripture:  Philippians 3: 10 Amp
[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

Glory to God!
A deeper relationship with God that Paul desired and talked about in the opening scripture should be every believer’s goal or earnest achievement.

What drives you as a believer determines the level you will get in Christ and in fulfillment of destiny.

There are five powerful key things Paul talked about in the opening scripture I want to discuss to enable us to understand why a deeper relationship with God should be our topmost priority through Paul’s insight:-

1.     He was determined! One being determined is to control or influence something directly, or to decide what will happen.
Determination is required if we want or decide to accomplish anything in life.

Are you determined to know God more? (2 Corinthians 3: 18 Ampc study). Beloved its consistency in what we do repeatedly that is right brings about victory and also gets us our desired end. Be determined in your daily walk with Christ.

2.  He wanted to know Christ more deeply and intimately. Knowing someone and having an intimate relationship with someone is not the same. Paul simply wanted a personal relationship with Christ.

Can this be your desire? It’s available to anyone that is willing to pay the price by seeking Jesus wholeheartedly.

3. He wanted to know the wonders of Christ’s person more strongly and clearly. Beloved if Paul knew Christ from the encounter he had in Damascus road could still desire to seek and know Him more – it means there are no limits to knowing God and one should never be satisfied when one does not grow spiritually. Glory!

Every day with Jesus is a journey and there is much more to learn daily we can only know more when we seek Him. God is never ever gone leave you no matter what; just stay true

Hebrew 13:5 Ampc says …for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

Most of the time we find pressures of the world luring us away from seeking God more through distractions – choose to remain focused. God is with us all the way in our journey in this life and we will discover He is with us in every situation!

I urge you to have a deeper relationship with Him it does not matter how many times you have tried to keep trying and certainly, you shall be victorious.

To be continued…

I pray for you to let the desire to seek and know Christ more daily be rekindled in you in Jesus name Amen.
