Word for Today: Are You Determined To Know Him More? (Part 2)

Opening Scripture:  Philippians 3: 10 Ampc
[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

Glory to God!
There are no limits to knowing God. Every second and minute you will discover that He is a wonder. Glory!

But for you to discover how gracious, powerful, and full of authority our God is, you must be determined to know Him more. There should be a desire – ever hungry in your spirit man to have a deeper relationship.

Paul said” for my determined purpose is that I may know Him “wow what a glorious purpose! Knowing God should be our purpose of existence and that will enable us to fulfill our destiny. Hallelujah!
Today let’s look at the two remaining powerful key things Paul talked about:-

4. Paul wanted to experience the power of Christ resurrection that lifted us out from among the dead even while still in the body.

Truly knowing Jesus deeply and intimately gives us joy and peace even during trials and challenging times because we trust Him to work out something beautiful no matter how painful it might be.

Life in Christ is to live an undefeated life because His resurrection power is made available to us all.

Beloved God wants to show His power in us and through us. Glory! God is ever willing and ready to reach out to you all you need to do is reach out to Him as well.

Acts 17: 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
5. Paul’s willingness to share the sufferings of Christ if that would cause him to be transformed into the image of Christ.

I know you might be wondering if am saying we need to hang on the Cross as Jesus did! No, rather we should be willing to go through whatever we need to do in order to be like Jesus and see Him glorified in us. Endurance is vital here.

Like our role model, Christ said in Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Amen!

Beloved, I urge you to be determined to know God more. A deeper relationship takes you higher.

I pray for you today to be filled with the urge to know God more in Jesus name Amen.
