Opening Scripture: Luke 1: 38
And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her
Glory to God!
These were Mary’s words when she had an encounter with the Angel who came to tell her that she was chosen(favored by God) to give birth to a son.
His name is Jesus (Study Luke 1: 27 – 38) she was not just to bear a son but to conceive the son in a way impossible unto man but possible unto God.
Why? Because with God all things are possible. Hallelujah!
Mary’s response shows confidence and trust in the God who sent the angel.
In her words, she said ” I am
the servant of the Lord”
Her words were spoken in humility to serve God. Let you will be done in me.
Beloved can you boldly say these same words when required? Have you come to
the point in your walk with God you can say ” Let it be unto me according to your word “?!
God’s words are Yes and Amen. It blesses and there is no curse in it for His children.
His perfect will for your life is glorious. Praise Him!
Mary believed His word and it came to pass in her life.
Believe also in God’s word and it’s shall come to pass.
It takes faith to receive from God. Jesus turning water into wine was because Mary asked the disciples to go meet Him and do all He ask them to do. (John 2:5)
Mary’s faith and confidence at work.
She had total confidence void of doubt. Glory!
Listen God’s word is powerful. His spoken word is a Rhema that can bring whatever it says to pass.
Whatever His words say it means it has already been fulfilled for it to be spoken.
Stop walking with God in fear and doubt. Rather walk with confidence just like Mary. Trust His words to manifest in your life.
For mighty testimony awaits
a believer who has confidence in God’s Word.
I pray for you today, let it be in your life according to God’s word in Jesus’ name Amen.
