Opening Scripture: 1 John 3:11For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Previously I ended by saying are you a lover?
The response you give will determine if you love God. Because loving is a commandment that those who love the Lord will keep.
Love is a must for all believers. We must love one another. It’s a mandate.
What sets us different from others is love. GOD’S kind of love distinguishes us from the rest.
God planned to develop a people that reflected his character.
And if I may ask, do you know God’s character?
God’s character is LOVE.
The Bible says in 1 John 4:16-17 “God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; for we are as He is in this world”
Halleluyah! If you are born by God then you must be a lover. We are God’s masterpiece to the world, announcing; that His creation is love personified.
We are his ambassadors here on earth.
And when we love as He has loved us, it will make the difference. People will notice.
Christian love is indispensable. His love makes a huge difference.
And we are His mouthpiece. We ought to daily live a life of Love.
Love is a virtue and an action word it’s to be practiced. It’s not to be offered expecting something in return but giving freely.
It’s an active interest in the well-being of another person. Glory to God!
When was the last time your love was genuine not like the counterfeit love the world offers in sentimentality, lust, gratification, and full of expectations?
God’s love acts for the benefit of others it’s not selfish but selfless.
Just like the love of God for mankind.
God loved us not because we had something to offer him, but rather because He had something to offer us. (See John 3:16). God loved us so that He could demonstrate His mercy to us in the person of His Son.
His example of love is worthy enough to make us love one another. Be christ-like therefore make loving a lifestyle today.
I pray for you, be love personified let genuine christ-like love be found and seen in you in Jesus’ name Amen.
