Word For Today: Can A Man Run From God?

Opening Scripture:
Jeremiah 23: 24
Can any hide in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.

Hallelujah!
Can we run from God? Yes!

Sin makes us run from God. Disobedience which is a sin makes us run from God, however, that does not imply that God can not see us no matter how we try to hide while running.

Disobedience means refusing to obey rules or someone in authority. Who is the authority in our life? God. The moment we gave our lives to Christ we became answerable to God as He is the Lord of our lives. Hallelujah!

Beloved fleeing from God’s presence because of disobedience gives access to stormy attacks such a believer.

When the Lord instructs, you do it. When you refuse to obey His instructions, you are keeping yourself in a place where there will be no progress and you never hide from God. Praise the Lord!

Jonah’s account in the bible shows disobedience runners are failures and there is no failure in God.
(Study Jonah 1:1- 3)

When you leave God’s presence, you become vulnerable and accessible to your enemies.

Some disobedience leads to death like Lot’s wife and Cain. Note: who the Lord loves He rebukes; make amends today.

Beloved refuses to be like Jonah who went through a lot to come to the point of obedience. No matter how He ran God still saw Him.

Many have lost a lot in the raging storm of disobedience. They refuse to obey God’s instructions because of selfish reasons.
God does not function in selfishness but in selflessness. Hallelujah!

The Lord wants the best for us. Walking in His instructions simply means you fear and love Him.
John 14: 15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”

Hardening the heart is a tool the enemy uses to distract people from fulfilling their destinies. In disobedience, you don’t get to your personal desired destination. God is an all-seeing God. Hallelujah!

Be reminded there is never a good reason to flee God’s presence through disobedience. Stop seeing those desires as divine when they are contrary to God’s words – then it’s not to be achieved.

What is that step He has instructed you to take from the beginning of this year in your ministry, business, Christian life, marriage, and so on? It’s not too late to make amends. Stop running and start obeying because in the instructions lies breakthroughs and testimonies.

We are not to run from God but to Him. As Proverbs 18:10 says, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.”

Repent from running from God (1 John 1:9) and you will fulfill your destiny.

I urge you to be obedient and the good Lord will do mighty things in you and through you during this season of testimonies.

I pray for you today to always run to God in Jesus’ name Amen.
