Opening Scripture:
James 4: 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Halleluyah!
An unstable lifestyle in Christ is adultery. Stop cheating on God! You can’t be friends with the world and expect God to call you His own!
There is no neutrality in serving God. You can’t entertain one foot in Christ and the other in the world, it is prohibited.
Carnality has eaten deep in the body of Christ as many Christians find it appealing to embrace worldly life style and their patterns yet claim lovers of God.
You can’t love God and yet disobey His word ( see John 14: 15) True lovers of God walk in His ways Amen
The moment you gave your life to Christ, the carnal life of the world was no longer acceptable. You no longer belong to them but rather to God. You should live Holy and Godly.
A lukewarm lifestyle is a complete No in Christ.
I ask what are those worldly lifestyles you have embraced to be normal, what does God’s word say concerning them?
We are to use God’s word our manual for life ( godly living) to checkmate the lifestyle and character we portray, the moment it’s contrary to His word we are expected to discard it. You trash as fast as possible to avoid contamination.
What did Apostle Paul say about carnality?
Romans 8: 5 – 6 “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Carnally minded is death. You die to the new nature of righteousness when you yoke yourself to unrighteousness you stay dead to righteousness even though Christ has died to enable us to gain freedom.
1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
Why did Paul speak this way to them?
Because they were still controlled by their sinful nature. No desire to obtain growth to enable them to walk in righteousness and stay friends with God forever.

Segregation is carnality allowing a church name to divide us by borderlines is abnormal. Allowing the world to control you in the name of trending stuff it’s an error.
No matter how trending it is, does it reflect the christ-like nature in us? We are in this world but not of this world. Ungodliness should have no place in us. Carnality is a death!
If you find yourself associating with the world and its offerings is time to repent and return to God. It’s possible to stay faithful because the ability resides in you. Repent and return home Jesus is waiting.
Are you yet unsaved ( Not Born again) Grace is available to grab it and surrenders to Jesus today.
Reject the world and embrace Christ.
